I didn't know there will be a new photo event at Mt. Rokko. A new art Season has come!
There are portfolio reviews and slide shows for emerging artists. I would love to attend this event. Next time I am in Japan, I would love to go. My work will be in the lucky photo market! I hope my work will reach
someone at the event.

若手の写真家たちのポートフォリオレビュー、写真家の方々のスライドショー、いってみたいな。次回は帰国していってみたいと思っています。私の写真がラッキーフォトマーケットに参加。会場のどなたかに私の作品がとどきますよ～に。

Le pivot

このたびLe pivotでジュエリーを出展されているRubusさんがDMに写真を使ってくださいました。素敵な仕上がりにとても嬉しく思っています。展示会は今日１６日から２０日までだそうです。東京にいないので見に行けないので残念。とても素敵なジュエリーです。東京におられる方は是非！

The jewelry company Rubus is attending at Le pivot, an art event in Tokyo. Their direct mail, which features my work, looks very nice. The event is from October 16th to 20th, 2012. I am unable to visit since I am not in Tokyo, but anyone in the area, should visit! Rubus makes exquisite pieces.

The Third Gallery Aya at アート大阪

暑くなってきましたね。
 大阪のギャラリーからのご案内です。皆様、是非お時間があれば立ち寄ってください。

この度The Third Gallery Ayaでは、浅田暢夫,城林希里香と垣本泰美によるグループ展を開催致します。
浅田暢夫は「海のある場所」、城林希里香は「Lines, Beyond」そして垣本泰美は「繭の時間」とそれぞれの代表作から展示致します。
それぞれの作品のイメージの中に「海」が含まれているのですが、そのあり方は違います。
「海」そのものがテーマであり、被写体となる浅田作品、「水平線」としての海を捉えた城林の「Lines,Beyond」、少女という存在をテーマにする中で「少女」を象徴する表象としての「海」を捉えた垣本作品と、同じ「海」を被写体にしてもその捉え方はある意味全く変わるのです。
それぞれ違う面をみせる「海」という被写体を楽しんで頂けることと思います。

是非、多くの方々に見て頂きたく思います。

I went to Greenwich CT, to see the gallery brought my work to the Sea Fair. It was very nice trip from NY, just over one hour. I felt like I had a little vacation. The fair was held on the ship parked near the hotel. It was so nice.
