アートレジデンスで一緒だった友達が早稲田でPhdの研究に東京に引っ越しました。私はいつも東京にくる時、あまり会う時間が無かったのだけど今回は時間にも余裕があり、ゆったりと時間がすごせました。ひさしぶりに、大声で笑いながら街をあるき、買い物をしたり、アートをみたりと、のんびりと時間でした。スパイラルでは１００人のクリエーターをあつめたショウがおこなわれていました。なかなか楽しかったです。歴代グランプリの作品も展示されていました。パチンコ玉が落ちてきて階段状につくられたもののを音をならしておちていくの作品がありました。音が音楽を奏でるという作品。こどものころ噴水のまえから離れられなかったようなときのような感覚。じっとみてしいました。音のできる作品って楽しいなとおもいます。
I saw my friend who went to MacDowell art residency together. She is a poet, and a candidate of PHD in Waseda and UC Davis. When I go to Tokyo, I usually don't have much time, however this time; I really spent a relaxing time in Tokyo. Since there was news of swine flue, I didn't want to meet friends who had kids. I spent most of time alone in Tokyo. After 5 days, I started to see my friends. I went to Spiral, where was holding a show of 100 creators. It was interesting to meet new artists. They also show the winners from previous years. There was a work, which created the sounds while the pachinko balls were descending the little steps. I remember I used to love to see the fountains, which has the similar rhythm. I enjoy artworks with sounds.
