Open House Benefit for Earthquake Relief
Uraseke Tea Ceremony Society is holding an open house from 10 AM to 4PM.
There will be twelves sittings that will be served on the half of an hour in our tatami mat rooms. This is a rate opportunity to hold "Open House" in the Center. Attendees will experiene sharing a bowl of tea and sweets in traditional tearooms constructed in Japan and installed by Kyoto craftsmen.
In reagard to tearoom etiquette you should be aware of certain issues. Shoes are removed before entering the tatami mat area. Sometimes people choose to wear white socks, but this not necessary.

Suggested Donation: $20
Cash or checks will be accepted.
All proceeds of the event are being donated to the Japan Society's Earthquake Relief Dund.
