香港 フード アート

香港でフードエキスポというのが開催されていたらしい。残念。見逃してしまった。いろいろな国のおいしいものが来ていたのだと思うと、くやしい。。来年こそはと，今から考えているところ。

I heard there were a food expo in Hong Kong. I missed it! There must be a lots of food from different countries. I will definitely go next year!

食べ物の話もよいですが、、前回香港に来ていた時は香港でHKARTが開催されていた。今年で２回目ということ、今回が初めていくニューヨークとは違ったものがみれるかなと思い出かけていった。中国や韓国などの普段みることがないギャラリーも参加していました。全体的に、スコラプチャーを扱った作品が多かった用におもったのは気のせいかな。ペインティングも立体てきなものなど、変わったものが多かったように思います。ニューヨークやヨーロッパのアートショウとは違って少し小さめで、一日で回るのにちょうど良い量だった。疲れ果てる事なく、ゆっくりと見る事ができた。他のアートショウにもよく参加しているNYやヨーロッパのギャラリーも沢山みかけましたが、少しリラックスしたムードがあるのか、ギャラリーの方が話しかけてくれたり、ブックレットをくれたりなど、普段とは違う雰囲気だった。

Well, there were many art shows in Hong Kong when I was in Hong Kong last time. I went to HKART; it was the second one. I went there because I thought I might be able to see something different from New York. There were some galleries from China and Korea thatI didn’t see before. I also thought there were many sculptures, or sculptural works more than usual. Did I may pay attention more than usual?

It was smaller than the art show in Europe, and New York, but it was good amount too look at for a day. I could look around without too much efforts. There many galleries I thought at other shows, however the atmosphere was very relax, the gallery person talked to me friendly and gave me some booklets too. So sweet!

LouisVittonのショウもこの時期におこなわれていた。個人的にCHANELの特別展示より良かったなとおもいました。シャネルの特別展は香港でもやっていたのだけど入れず、ニューヨークでやっとの思いでみにいく。シャネルは宣伝もよく、限定された人数しかみれないなど、期待をよりいっそう高める効果があったのもあり期待をしていったのですが、少し、それとは違ったという感じがあったのかもしれない。

The Louis Vitton show was held during the art fair. I personally enjoyed the Louis Vitton Show than CHANEL show. CHANEL show was held at the several places including New York and Hong Kong. I couldn’t see in Hong Kong, so I went to New York one after they traveled to New York. It was lots of restrictions to get in, so I expected lots for the show. Probably, I expected too much.

Vittonのショウは、Richard　Prince、村上隆などを含め、LouisVittonのデザインに関わった作家の作品、 昔から今にいたるまでのLouis Vitton のスーツケースやポータブルベットなどの展示、まだ旅行がカジュアルでないころのlaxuryな旅行を想像させてくれた。引き出し付きのスーツケースはいいなあ。

There were many works who involved with Louis Vitton Design including Richard Prince, and Takashi Murakami. They were exhibiting their old designed products. It was nice to see old suitcases, portable beds, and others which reminded me the luxury trip in old time.

蛍茶碗

最近お茶のお稽古を始めました。小さいころ５年以上していたのにすっかりと忘れてしまっている。悲しい限り。とぎれとぎれになった記憶をたどりながら、お稽古で先生方にお世話になりっぱなしです。時には扇子でたたかれたりもしてます。。

先日お稽古を一緒にさせて頂いている生徒の一人がひら茶碗のお手間を練習されていました。そこで使っていたのがとんぼの平茶碗。涼しそうに水のひたされたお茶碗から、茶巾をとって、しぼり、そのしずくがお茶碗に。夏らしいトンボの絵柄。

平茶碗のお手前は覚えていなかったのに、以前自分がお手間を練習していた時に使っていた蛍のお茶碗を思い出した。糸がほどけたかように、お手前を思い出し始めた。。一枚の絵をはめることによって、記憶はよみがえる、不思議だなと思いました。

I recently started to take tea ceremony classes. I used to practice when I was little more than 5 years. But I forgot all I learned.
I have some memories, but there are in-continuous. The teacher is so kind, teach me with so much patients.

One day, one of students was practicing "Hirajyawan", which used shallow tea bowl for making tea, often used during summer.
While I was waiting for the tea, I looked at the bowl, and saw the dragonflies pattern on it. The water from Cyakin(a mini cloth/wiping bowls)
drips, and the master squeeze the Cyakin out. Looks so summery. The pattern also suggests summer.

I completely forgot the Hirajyawan. However, when I look at the dragonfly tea bowl, suddenly it snapped.
It was like a missing piece of jigsaw puzzles. Once place the piece, I started to recall and see the whole picture.
The memory system in human being is so strange.
